Many times women indirectly approach men, and when they show interest they act like they don't care. Many times it is just because they want validation. Many times they want to be approached just because other women got approached by the same man. Sometimes it is to make you chase them. Sometimes to see, if you are really interested in her. Also, many women think, if they talk too easily it might make them look like a "whore". Most men don't get this.
