What Makes People Promiscuous

If a person is insecure he/she becomes promiscuous for ego validation. He/she starts to have sex with many people for approval. But don't think I am labelling you for this. To be insecure is to be human. However, to be insecure perpetually and to be promiscuous perpetually is also wrong. What I am saying is you have to learn how to be secure or achieve that mental state by doing some inner-mind work.
