Don't Have An External Frame Of Reference

Do not take your social status cue, or  measure your competence level based on how other judge you or treat you. For example, a person with an external frame of reference might think he's not competent enough because his boss yells at him, or because his coworkers think he's not good enough. First of all, they are just perceptions, which are wrong most of the time. Don't let them define who you are.

Many people feel bad and think something is wrong with them when people treat them wrong. If you continually feel bad when people treat you badly or say something to you, you are letting them define who you are. Most of the time it is them, and they do it unconsciously, so most of the time, their judgement is wrong.

Also, don't feel bad if you suck at your job or something. Many people suck at everything. Failure scars you emotionally, beware of this, and don't let it happen to you. Everyone fails all the time.  It could be your brain chemistry; maybe you don't have the same opportunity.
