Self Serving Bias

This is straight from Wikipedia:"The self-serving bias is people's tendency to attribute positive events to their own character but attribute negative events to external factors. It's a common type of cognitive bias that has been extensively studied in social psychology." I posted to this so that people could be aware of this fact, but this does not mean "external factors" never play a role. It just that people do this unconsciously.
