When you talk to someone or do something with someone, your brain/mind and  sends status signal. The one with the higher status dominates in the interaction, and obviously, the one with the lower status submits. This happens so subtly and unconsciously, the people involved don't even realize that it is happening. That is why people do not realize when they condescend, and when people behave subserviently/inferiority. It is because their brain uses the part that they can't control consciously. It happens to all of us. Try to be aware of it and practice not to come off as an inferior person.
