You Need Precedent

Your need precedent to understand something because the specific neural connection doesn't get created. That is why we understand things when someone try to explain us something using examples. Because the neuron connections have already been made, it is easier for the explainer to make sense to the explainee who hasn't experience the specific incident. So, to make it understand the person connect it to the incident which already created the neural connection.
